Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s.

The Minister for Education, Hon. Aseri Radrodro, this week officiated at the handover of 50 laptops donated by the Asco Foundation to support schools in enhancing ICT-based learning and teaching. The donation will help bridge digital gaps, especially in schools located in remote and maritime areas where access to technology remains limited.

In his address, Hon. Radrodro quoted the late Steve Jobs, highlighting that learning to program and use computers helps young people think creatively and critically. He encouraged students to develop essential skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication β€” qualities that will prepare them for the future.

Hon. Radrodro expressed sincere gratitude to the Asco Foundation for their generous contribution, thanking them on behalf of the Government, teachers, and students across Fiji. β€œThis timely and thoughtful donation will go a long way in improving access to quality education and promoting digital literacy in our schools,” he said.

The Minister urged teachers and students to use the laptops wisely and creatively to open new doors of learning and discovery. He emphasized that integrating digital tools into everyday learning will modernize classrooms, boost motivation, and strengthen performance β€” paving the way for a more connected and innovative education system.
