SODELPA has reaffirmed its strong support for youth farmers, recognizing their vital role in developing Fiji’s agricultural sector and strengthening the national economy.

This month, youth farmers from across the country gathered over two days for Fiji’s first National Youth in Agriculture Symposium . SODELPA Party Leader, Hon. Aseri Radrodro , was honored to attend following an invitation from the Ministry of Agriculture , where he engaged with young farmers and emerging agri-entrepreneurs.

Looking ahead to 2026, SODELPA has outlined a clear vision to place youth at the center of agricultural development under a new SODELPA-led Government. The party is committed to prioritizing youth participation in agriculture through targeted funding, improved access to training, modern farming technologies, and stronger market opportunities.

SODELPA believes that empowering young farmers will not only address unemployment but also strengthen food security, boost rural economies, and ensure a sustainable future for Fiji’s agriculture sector.
