As Fijiβs students begin their 2026 National External Examinations, SODELPA Party Leader and Minister for Education, Hon. Aseri Masivou Radrodro, has encouraged all students to remain focused, confident and committed to doing their very best.
Speaking at the 2026 Ministry of Education External Examination Dedication Service, Hon. Radrodro reminded students that while examinations are an important part of their education journey, their examination results do not define their future.
He encouraged students to trust the preparation they have received, manage their time wisely, read each question carefully and remain calm when faced with difficult questions.
βEnter the examination room with confidence. Read each question carefully, manage your time and do not give up when you come across a difficult question. Most importantly, give your best effort.β
This year, 19,141 Year 8 students will sit the Fiji Year 8 Certificate Examination from 6β8 October across 718 centres. A further 8,561 Year 13 students will sit their examinations from 27 Octoberβ6 November across 174 centres, while 12,388 Year 12 students will sit their examinations from 11β23 November across 177 centres.
Hon. Radrodro also acknowledged the important role played by teachers, parents and guardians, whose support, encouragement and guidance help students through this important period.
The dedication service brought together faith, education and family, reminding students that success is not only measured by marks, but also by character, discipline, perseverance, resilience and the courage to overcome challenges.
From the Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA), we wish all students sitting the 2026 National External Examinations the very best.
Stay focused. Stay confident. Give your best. π«π―π
